In the first Test match played in Visakhapatnam between India and South Africa, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat.

Team India has come up with some major changes on the field today, the first change will be seen in wicket-keeper, where Riddhiman Saha will be seen in place of Rishabh Pant, while R Ashwin also returned to the team after a long time. Rohit Sharma is opening for the first time in Test cricket.

Faf du Plessis, the SA skipper, starts by saying that his Toss record is not pretty good in the sub-continent. Adds that few of the players who came here last time have retired and the younger side has a great challenge in front of them. On their playing XI, Faf says that because of the dry surface, they are going with three spinners and two pacers in their team.

The Indian skipper, Kohli says that it's a no-brainer. Feels that the wicket is looking good to bat. On the team, Kohli says that Rohit has an excellent opportunity at the top and the team is looking forward to see him. On Saha, Kohli says that he went out because of the injury but remains the best wicket-keeper batter in the world. Talking about the opponents, Kohli says that they are a tough side and it will be hard grind for everyone.
