India Vs West Indies, 1st T20I - Live Cricket Score in Kolkata: India beat West Indies by 5 wickets and take the lead 1-0

India's first match of the three-match T-20 series between India and the West Indies has got its name. In the first T20 match played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, India defeated the visiting team by 5 wickets. West Indies had set a target of 110 runs before India, in reply India achieved a target of 5 wickets in 18 overs.

Dinesh Karthik made the most runs from India, this wicket-keeper batsman scored an unbeaten 31 runs. On the other hand, Kunal Pandya, who played his first T20 game, took the first wicket with 15 runs in 4 overs and then in batting, he scored 21 runs off 9 balls.

The first blow to India was given by the fast bowler Thomas, the bowler got the Indian captain Rohit Sharma caught by wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin at the score of 6 runs. After this, the bowler made Shikhar Dhawan clean-bowled at the score of 3 runs. West Indies captain Carlos Brathwaite gave India the third blow as Rishabh Pant, he got Pant out caught by Bravo at 1 for one. Lokesh Rahul scored 16 runs while facing 22 balls. Carlos Brathwaite has been caught by Darren Bravo for the pavilion. Spinner bowler Khary Pierre take Manish Pandey's own ball to catch India 5th wkts.

On the other hand, Team India's Chinnaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been the target of three players from the Windies team. Kuldeep showed the path of the dugout to four players in four overs with 13 runs from the economy rate of 3.25.

Earlier, India's experienced bowler Umesh Yadav gave the first blow to the Caribbean team. Umesh took opener Denesh Ramdin (2) caught by wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik. In the next over, the second opener, Shi Hope (14), was run out with Manish Pandey in collaboration with KL Rahul.

After this, the West Indies's highest expectation was that Shimron Hetmayer also became the victim of Jaspreet Bumrah, who came in to bowl his first over. Batting for a big shot on Bumrah, Hetmayer's wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik kept his catch.

The third blow to the West Indies was in the form of his most experienced all-rounder Kieron Pollard. Pollard (14) was caught by Kunal Pandya at the hands of Manish Pandey. After Pollard, Darren Bravo (5) could not stay on the crease for much longer. He was caught by Kuldeep Yadav at the hands of Shikhar Dhawan.

Kuldeep Yadav's second victim was Rovman Powell (4). Powell got Kuldeep Yadav caught by wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik It was Kuldeep who made West Indies captain Carlos Brathwaite (4) lbw out in his last over.

After that West Indies innings reduced the defending batsman Fabien Allen to Kremlas Allen, with 27 fours in 20 balls with the help of 4 fours. Allen was caught by Khalil Ahmed at Umesh Yadav's hand.
