The third day of the fourth and final Test match between hosts Australia and India is in progress. In reply to Team India's score 622/7 declared, Australia's first innings was bowled out at 300 runs in 104.5 overs. Team India's Chinnaman Kuldeep Yadav bowled brilliantly, giving 99 runs in 31.5 overs with five wickets including 6 Maiden.
The hosts advanced their innings on the fourth day with a score of 236/6. The first session of the fourth day is a rain offering. Australia started off in the match after lunch, with fast bowler Mohammed Shami He made Pat Cummins (25) clean-bowled. Cummins could not add to his tomorrow's score. After that Peter Handscomb (37) tried to take charge with Stark. Both of them added 21 runs for the eighth wicket. But the inswing of a fast pace of Jasprit Bumrah blown Peter Handscomb 8th success.
In the next over, Kuldeep Yadav made Nathan Lyon out of the LBW on the fulltoss ball and gave Team India 9th success. Lyon could not open the account. After that Josh Hazlewood (21) and Mitchell Starc (29 *) raised the problem of Team India while sharing 42 runs for the last wicket. Both of them struggled and Australia scored 300 runs.
Apart from Kuldeep on behalf of Team India, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami took two wickets each. Jaspreet Bumrah got a breakthrough
