In the 28th match of IPL 13, Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 82 runs. With this victory, RCB's team has now reached the third position in the points table.
Winning the toss, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) came out to bat, with AB De Villiers and captain Virat Kohli (33 not out) scoring a mammoth score of 194 for two with their unbeaten 100-run partnership in 7.4 overs for their third wicket. In response, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team could only manage 112 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs.

Opener Aaron Finch also managed to bounce back after his previous poor performance for RCB and he scored 47 runs (four fours and a six off 37 balls) along with Devdutt Padikkal (32) for 67 for the first wicket in 67 overs. RCB moved to third place with 10 points from seven matches, while captain Dinesh Karthik's team has eight points from the same number of matches and has slipped to third place.
